Letter from Gunter - Beginning of the Year Fees
Dear LTMS Choir Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we have begun a fantastic year with our choir program! I am overwhelmed with the talent and hard work!!!
The students are all singing very well and are continuing to make music at a very competent and artistic level:
Sixth grade is learning how to make beautiful choral tone, sight read notes and rhythms and have begun singing in two and three parts.
Seventh Grade Junior Varsity is singing with a lovely sound and continuing to read music and work diligently on new music.
Eighth Grade Junior Varsity is exploring a more “showchoir” style
Tenor/Bass Choir is busy learning the National Anthem to perform at the Texas Stars hockey game. What an amazing group of young men!
Varsity Girls choir is holding the standard of choral excellence that has been a benchmark of the LTMS choir program.
All of the 7th/8th grade groups are working on music that they will be able to use to audition for the Region Choir.
One of the ways your child can be successful in LTMS choir is to participate in our voice lesson program. The teachers are all highly qualified vocal pedagogues with many years experience teaching and performing. The students who take voice lessons learn more quickly and tend to be the highest achievers. This year we have 100% participation in our Varsity choir!! Please sign your student up for lessons on the LTMS choir website.
I want to invite you to take a look at the choir website - www.ltmschoir.com
You will find information regarding the handbook (uniforms, expectations, etc.), calendar, volunteer opportunities, a link to voice lessons and more!
Choir payments will be due soon. You can click to get the form. Please return form with your payments.

Thank you so much for encouraging your child to be a part of the arts and especially choir.
